It's true! Sometiems, NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS! How you say? Well, sit back and listen up. Ever gone on an audition and feel, "NAILED it!", but you never hear back from the CD's? Bummer, right? Well, maybe not. Sometimes NOT being called back for a role may just be what you REALLY needed. Believe it or not, it's not ALWAYS about the Actor. SHOCKER ALERT!!! Sometimes it could be something personal, like, maybe you look like the cousin of the CD, who, by the way they don't care much for or maybe you weren't the right height, weight, type, or, or, or it gets better... You are better for something else they have coming up somewhere down the line. So before you get bothered or hot under the collar, remember that there are reasons you get chosen and reasons you don't and guess what... You NEVER know in either case... Just roll with it.

So, keep an open mind at ALL times. Never put to much thought into any audition after the fact. If they are going to call... They will and they aren't.. They won't. Leave it at the door. Do YOUR best and carry on about your day. The only thing YOU have control over is YOUR performance. After that... Your job is done.

While you're in-between auditions and perfecting the Actor that is you. Make sure you are receiving adequate training and keeping your instrument warm! There isn't anything worse than a cold instrument. Make sure you continue to hone your skills.  Always be prepared.
